The Giver

I am reading The Giver by Lois Lowry. At first I hated it, but when I got to chapter ten, it started to get really good. This is probably my favorite book that I've ever read. Here's an excerpt from the back of the book.

Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the Community.

When Jonas turns twelve he is singled out to receive special training from The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the true pain and pleasure of life. Now it's time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no turning back.

The Episcopal Academy

December 6th, 2009, 8:30 AM, Cruce Merchant walks into The Episcopal Academy, ready to take their entry test. 12:05 PM, He walks out of the Study Hall, his face stoic and unreadable. As he neared his mother she said "How did it go?". And he replied, "I failed Miserably."

Not only was this true, he also had to retake the test in a month! The problem was he didn't know if he could pass this time either.

Youtube

Hey guys. I just wanted to inform you that I currently have 3 different Youtube accounts. Youtube is a great way to share your favorite, funniest, and just plain weirdest moments with the rest of the world.

I use my account weirdal333 for simple skits that me and my sisters make up.

I use my account MunchyFrog for "professional" videos that me and my friend make.

I use my account NotaniPhone for videos about my iPod touch.

Check 'em out.

Ipod Touch

I have an Ipod Touch. If you have recently purchased an iPod touch or iPhone, or are looking to buy one, I would be happy to answer any of your questions.

DS for Christmas

My aunt gave my sisters and I a Nintendo DS lite for Christmas. I got a DS for my ninth birthday but then it got lost at IKEA. The DS is very fun, and the cool thing about it is it also plays GBA (Gameboy Advance) games. So we don't have any DS games, but we do have some GBA games.
