I am reading The Giver by Lois Lowry. At first I hated it, but when I got to chapter ten, it started to get really good. This is probably my favorite book that I've ever read. Here's an excerpt from the back of the book.Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the Community.
